Anna Carpinella

Anna Carpinella, age 104, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown, PA.

Anna was born in Philadelphia on March 11, 1922, the daughter of the late John Broccardi and the late Catherine Broccardi (née Sassi).

Anna was a longtime resident of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia and was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and spending time with her family.

She was the wife of the late Raymond Carpinella.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Joseph and Dominic; and three sisters, Theresa, Mary and Catherine.

Anna is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday morning from 9:30am to 10:15am at the Villa.

Entombment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to: St. Joseph's Villa at the above address.
