Betty St. Clair Robinson

Betty St. Clair Robinson, age 94, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

She was born in Covington, Virginia on September 30, 1931, the daughter of the late John Baines and Louise (McClure) St. Clair.

Betty lived most of her life in McLean, Virginia before moving to Lafayette Hill, where she has resided for two years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Radford University and worked as a Geography Teacher. She enjoyed crafting items out of cardboard, especially props for school plays. She enjoyed coloring, especially monochromatic medallions in adult coloring books. Betty was generous, kind hearted and supportive, yet always willing to speak her mind. She welcomed many who spent time in her home over the years.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Louis Robinson, Jr. of Lafayette Hill, PA; daughter, Sydney R. (G. Dominic) Cardea of Philadelphia, PA; and son, David L. (the late Laurie Jordan) Robinson of Woodbridge, NJ. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Nico Cardea, Clair Cardea and Zoey Cardea.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley St. Clair and brother, Leo St. Clair.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will take place in St. Clair Family Cemetery, Vinton, VA.

Betty loved taking trips to National Parks across the country. In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate donations made in her memory to the National Parks Conservation Association at the link below.
