Catherine Elizabeth Manzo, “Cass,” age 91 of Roxborough, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Born on May 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Frederick) Tourish and the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Manzo.

Cass was raised in the Logan neighborhood of Philadelphia and was a 1952 graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. She went on to work for Bell Telephone Company, and, after taking time to raise her four children, she later joined the law firm of Dechert Price & Rhoads as a receptionist and switchboard operator. Cass enjoyed singing the classics, preparing delicious meals for family and friends, and caring for her many beloved pets. Her greatest joy was her family, and she spent endless hours nurturing and supporting them, regaling them with her stories, amazing them with her energy, and inspiring them with her indomitable spirit. She is survived by four children, Cathy Meyer (Bill), Vincent Manzo Jr. (Carolyn), Michel Manzo Schwartz (Dean) and John Manzo (Lynn); one brother Thomas Tourish (Nancy); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers John Tourish and Daniel Tourish.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects in Church on Friday morning, September 26 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
