Daniel Crawford

Daniel Crawford, age 67, of Philadelphia, PA., sadly passed away on Sunday January 4,2026 after a long battle with medical issues.

He was born in Abington, PA on November 28, 1958, the son of Frank Crawford and the late Irene (Miller) Crawford.

Dan was raised in St. Athanasius Parish in West Oak Lane, and has been living in the Burholme section of Philadelphia since 1988. After the birth of his sons he served his community as a Philadelphia Firefighter. He spent his career at Engine 29, Rescue 1 in North Philadelphia, from 1994 until he retired in 2016.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed traveling and taking family vacations. He volunteered as a Scout Leader while his sons were growing up.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Susan Crawford (nee Woodard), and his sons Michael, Grant, and Jim. He also will be missed by his father Frank Crawford, sister Debbie O'Keefe, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Doug and Dave Crawford; and sister, Lois McCann.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a date and time to be announced.
