Daniel T. Maher

Daniel T. Maher, 69, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 26, 1956, the son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Gutgesell) Maher.

Dan was a lifelong resident of Roxborough and also enjoyed spending time at his home in Amelia Island, Florida. He enjoyed golf and was an active member of the Toads. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed woodworking and was a talented lawn sculpture and birdhouse artist.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Constance Maher (née Tanish); two daughters, Holly Maher (Dan Gross) and Casey Caramanica (Harry); and two grandchildren, Piper Gross and Harry Caramanica.

His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McIlvaine Mundy Funeral Home & Crematory, 7384 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning, June 26 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
