Elaine Mary Harp

Elaine Mary Harp, age 89, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 24, 1936. Elaine lived in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia and Cape Coral, FL, before moving to Spring Mill Pointe where she has resided for four years. Elaine held a clerical position at John F. Scanlan for over 20 years.

In her younger years, Elaine sold Princess House Crystal and enjoyed working on her sales pitch with her family. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and games, especially Rummikub. She had a great sense of humor and was blessed to have many loyal friends.

She was the wife of the late John J. Harp.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Jeffrey) Craighead of Roxborough; son, Gary (Kathy) Belford of The Villas, NJ; daughter, Karen (Carl) Dillich of Chesapeake, VA; seven grandchildren, Jack, Elizabeth, Kelly Ann, Gary Mark, Bradley, Katie and Bobby; and seven great grandchildren Layla, Ella, Emma, Amelia, Wyatt, Caylen and Shay. She is also survived by her former husband, Nelson Roy (Lynne) Belford of Lafayette Hill, PA.

Along with her husband John, she was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Siarczynski; son, Mark Belford; daughter, Kimberly Merk; two brothers, Michael and David Siarczynski; and granddaughter, Harley Merk.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, October 16 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by her Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at the McIlvaine Mundy Funeral Home & Crematory, 7384 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128.

Interment will be private.
