Ernest Pisacano, age 99, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
He was born in Elwood, New Jersey on July 26, 1926, the son of the late Nicholas and Domenicella (DiGiacomo) Pisacano. He was raised in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia and the former St. Mary the Eternal Parish.
Ernie has been a resident of Silver Springs of East Norriton since 2019, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill and the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.
Ernie honorably served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Field Artillery Computer Fire Direction Unit, served in the Philippine Liberation and initial occupation of Japan.
He was a Civil Engineer and prior to his retirement, served as the President of Anastasi Brothers Corp. Masonry Contractor. Ernie enjoyed golfing, drawing, sketching, painting, and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Frederick Pisacano of Conshohocken; daughter, Joanne (Stephen) Strunk of Harleysville; three grandchildren, Christopher Strunk (Kerry Wright), Stephanie (Nicholas) Martins and Dana (John) Fulginiti; and three great grandchildren, Shannon, Dominic and Kai.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM from St. Philip Neri RC Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
