Francis D. Crawford, Jr.

Our family lost a truly special man with the passing of our beloved grandpop; Francis Daniel Crawford, Jr., age 96, of Warminster, PA who passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, January 29, 2026.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 17, 1929, the son of the late Francis Daniel Crawford, Sr. and the late Harriet Ella Crawford (née Wenty).

Frank has been living in Warminster since 2006, formerly of the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. He was a parishioner of St. John Bosco Church and a former parishioner of St. Athanasius Church.

Grandpop lived his life with unwavering positivity. Even in difficult moments, he had a way of finding the bright side. He believed deeply in enjoying life, showing up for the people you love, and never missing a chance to remind others that “life is uncertain, eat dessert first!"

He honorably served as an engineer in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and always enjoyed sharing his story about crashing into The USS New Jersey. He had a long career as a Inspector for the Budd Company of Philadelphia. He enjoyed travelling across the country with his late wife Irene, doing puzzles, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was the husband of the late Irene Crawford (née Miller).

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Daniel Crawford survived by Sue Crawford, Doug Crawford survived by Maria Crawford, and Dave Crawford; daughter, Lois McCann survived by Steven McCann; and grandson Kyle Crawford.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie O'Keefe of Warminster, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 5 months short of a great great grandchild.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM from St. John Bosco Church, 215 E. County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 18974. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.

Interment will follow in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia
