Joseph F. Skuba

Joseph F. Skuba, age 99 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026 at his home.

Born and raised in Manayunk, he was the son of the late Joseph Frank and Mary Skuba.

Joe was a graduate of St. Josaphat’s Parish School and Roxborough High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He lived most of his life in the Andorra section of Philadelphia and was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

He attended music school in Philadelphia and was a talented drummer.

He was the husband of the late Marie A. (Votto) Skuba.

He is survived by his daughter, Adriene Ferere and two grandsons, Miles and Stewart Skuba.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph A. Skuba and great grandson, Tanner Skuba.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Sacred Heart Chapel at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (located behind rectory), 819 Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128 on Thursday, April 9 for viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the Chapel.

Interment will take place in Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd.
