Loretta Seiden

Loretta Seiden, age 101, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Silver Springs of East Norriton. 

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes (Macus) Johnson. Mrs. Seiden lived most of her life in the Andorra section of Philadelphia, where she was an active member of Saint Mary's Episcopal Church. She was a proud Philadelphian, avid Phillies fan and enjoyed travel. 

She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Seiden, Sr. 

She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth A. Seiden, Jr. and Keith A. Seiden; and two sisters, Marie Prettyman and Rose Ellen Boettcher. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy A. (Ulrich) Tendera of Florence, NJ; two daughters in-law, Kay Seiden of Collegeville and Valentina Seiden of Long Beach, CA; five grandchildren, Kari (Richard) Zarynow, Kimberly Seiden, Michael Seiden, Kevin Seiden and David Seiden; and two great grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel Zarynow. 

Her Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM from the McIlvaine Mundy Funeral Home & Crematory, 7384 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. 

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Episcopal Church Lawn Columbarium.
