Penny Tirpak (Schmidt) entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 10th, 2026 with her family by her side.

Penny was born on November 19th, 1948 in Norristown PA, where she spent most of her life.
Married in 1967 to Thomas, with whom she shared nearly fifty six years of marriage until his death in 2023. Penny was the "Rock" of the family and was always there to lend an ear or a shoulder; and give advice or a tissue, or to nurse a wound; whether it be physical or emotional. Penny always put others needs before her own, a real angel on earth. She once said "I'm not afraid to die, I'm just too nosey, I want to see how everyone will turn out."

More than anything, she cherished spending time with family, including two sons, Thomas (Joanne) and Dave (Donna); brother, Wes (Sheila); niece, Lana (Randy) and her "pride and joy" grandchildren, Thomas "Tom-Tom" (Tiara & daughter Elishia); Meghan and Matthew (Emily).

Nothing would have made Penny happier than getting together with family and friends. Please join us for a casual gathering to celebrate her life, with an evening of camaraderie and love on Sunday, October 4th, 4:00 pm -7:00 pm at Steppy's, 2912 Swede Rd., East Norriton, PA 19401.

There will be a small graveside service on Monday, October 5th at 11:00 am at St Augustine's Cemetery 175 W Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
