Richard A. Uhrich

September 19, 1946 — January 17, 2026

East Norriton

Richard Uhrich, age 79, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

He was born in Norristown, PA on September 19, 1946, the son of the late Carl M. and Celia (Falcón) Uhrich.

Ric was a resident of East Norriton for over 60 years and was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Titus parish and, later, St. Helena’s Roman Catholic Church of Blue Bell. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy as a Photographer, and photography became a lifelong passion of his.

Prior to his retirement, he had a diverse career spanning multiple industries, most notably as a manager for Roy Rogers. A hobbyist at heart, his vast tool and gadget collections reflected his many interests. Ric loved cooking, whether it was the perfect steak or a luscious lasagna, and when the time was right, a cold beer or a 7 & 7. He was an avid gun enthusiast, marksman, and member of the National Rifle Association. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, until he ran out of words, which were already few and far between.

He is survived by his loving, adoring wife and caretaker, Elissa “Lisa” Uhrich (née Parisse) of East Norriton; his daughter; his pride and joy, Victoria (Cary) Ciccone of Collegeville; his furry, four-legged companion and sidekick, Leo, and three siblings, Edward Uhrich (Vera Griffonetti), Catherine (Bruce) Watters and Eric Uhrich.

Ric and Lisa would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on January 23rd, 2026.

His Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM from St. Helena Roman Catholic Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church prior to Mass.

Interment will be private at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ric’s name to St. Helena’s Church at the above address.
