Richard Waxler

Richard Waxler, age 72, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 17, 1953, the son of the late Alexander and Jacqueline (Marcus) Waxler.

Rich has been living in Pottstown for four years, formerly of Royersford, PA. He was an avid golfer and longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He retired after a long career as a Delivery Driver for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Waxler; two brothers, Barry Waxler and Robert Waxler; companion of 20 years, Karen Shoemaker; and two granddaughters, Aubrey and Chloe Waxler.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Michael Waxler and Andrew Timothy Waxler.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to The Parkinson's Foundation.
