Valerie Brown

Valerie Brown, age 71, of Tuckerton, NJ passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 5, 1954, the daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Kelly) Brown.

Valerie has been living in Tuckerton for three years, formerly of Philadelphia. She enjoyed crafting, watching television, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by five children, Daniel Collins, Joseph Brown, Joey Alvin, Joanna Alvin, and Melissa Alvin; and brother, Matt Brown. She is also survived by grandchildren, Alex, Ryan, Gabrielle, Brandon, Briana, Anthony, Colin, Jabria, Jania, Theresa, Chianne, Jacob, Gage, Greyson and Josiah. — as well as great grandchildren; Abigail and Liam, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucretia "Marcy" Brown and two brothers, Joseph and Jay Brown.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by her Funeral Service at 5:30 PM at the McIlvaine Mundy Funeral Home & Crematory, 7384 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19128.
